Engineering Repurposed

Discovery International

I produced and directed several episodes of this engineering series for the Discovery Channel. Exploring the repurposing of incredible buildings. Filmed across multiple high-end industrial locations, the goal was to capture the engineers and architects incredible passion and enthusiasm for each of their projects - bringing warmth and visual flair to an engineering-focused programme.

What I did

Direction & Camera: Self-shot on Sony FS7/ FX6, shooting additional gimbal and also directing drone footage.

Story Development: Worked closely with the exec producer to develop structure and narrative flow - producing stories on the ground.

Contributor Management: Led interviews and on-location shoots, often under tight timeframes.

Aired on The Discovery Channel/BBC America in May 2024
